Farmers blocked the Khandwa-Baroda State Highway and Sendhwa National Highway for around 20 minutes after finding the Barwani Collectorate gate locked and no official available. They demanded MSP-based procurement, cheaper farm inputs, canal repairs and crop-loss compensation, warning of a larger district-level agitation on December 1.

Agricultural produce auctions at Bhikangaon APMC remained suspended for nearly an hour after employees protested against secretary Jamna Mandloi’s working style. Staff alleged improper duty allocation following promotions, misuse of system IDs and preferential treatment. Mandloi maintained that duties had been assigned according to the market’s operational requirements.
