Putin urges Russians to vote in parliamentary election as show of support for Ukraine war

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday described voter turnout in the upcoming parliamentary election as a barometer of public support for Russia’s war against Ukraine and urged voters to go to the polls. It will be Russia's first parliamentary election since the Kremlin launched its offensive in February 2022.
