Navi Mumbai Ganesh Visarjan Row: Citizens’ Group Questions Natural Immersion Of Clay Idols, Cites Bombay HC Order

Sajag Nagrik Manch alleged confusion at Navi Mumbai Ganesh immersion sites despite 170 artificial ponds set up by NMMC. The group claimed some shadu clay idols were allowed in natural water bodies, contrary to a Bombay High Court order. NMMC said it was following guidelines and asked citizens to report any violations to concerned ward offices.
