Rajya Sabha Polls For 11 Seats On October 16; Bengal By-Election Same Day

The Election Commission announced Rajya Sabha elections for 11 seats, including 10 from Uttar Pradesh and one from Uttarakhand, on October 16. A West Bengal by-election will also be held that day. The polls include seats held by BJP, SP and BSP members, with the results expected to affect the composition of the Upper House too.
