A day after Sahil Wakode’s father threatened to begin a hunger strike over the lack of arrests in his son’s death case, the family’s lawyer alleged that Mumbai Police tried to take his parents out of the city against their wishes. Police denied the allegation, saying the couple had themselves asked to be taken to Yavatmal.
